a dime for a day's pay

went to look for a mattress today and found some fishy people that i do not like dealing with. you've got to be a pretty stupid salesman if you say "we'll give you free delivery but we wont be able to deliver it until friday," when there's an obviously huge sign behind him that says "free same day delivery!" and you've got to be even worse than stupid when you replied the "what about the sign on your back?" with "oh, that's for purchases before 2pm."

and you know that you've got to be the stupidest person in the world when you replied the "but why can't you just deliver it tuesday, then? after labor day?" with "oh,... right. you know, we actually don't have it in stock."

these people need to take some HOW TO LIE AND NOT MAKE YOURSELF LOOKS STUPID courses, should be offered in colleges near you.

went with tin, jason, and phil today. i thought they were looking for mattresses, but tin and phil got all high when they see the foam mattress that shape accordingly to your body. it did feel like being in angel island in skypiea. i wonder if oda got his buildings-made-of-cloud idea from those kinds of mattresses.

did some bonding with jason, tin, and phil when we were eating at phuong trang. it started with a simple question that lead us to ponder and discuss about the mysteries revolving around the 8th wonder of the world.

talking about the past was great. especially great moments from the first year of college.

ah, i feel like i'm so old right now.
