MUKYA MAX

just a practice on monta's face and smoke effect using white ink.

note to self:
1. water + ink on sketch paper = BAD. never again.
2. for smoke effect with white ink, DO NOT OUTLINE.

WHOA WUT?!

this was originally a practice on drawing sena's face. then i kept adding more and more stuff in, but i never had the intention to color this... until i inked everything and realized how much wrong this could be.

"GASP. DID HE JUST... GRAB ME ON THE CROTCH?!"

so much wrong that i felt obliged to color this. here's to all you shinxsena fangirls.

here's one for the father

it's kinda odd when your dad emailed you and asked "how come your blog hasn't been updated for awhile?" it's not a nuisance or anything, but i'm just quite surprised that he reads my blog.

well, dad, i'm still alive and well, and no, i didn't forget that your birthday is coming up.

i found a tree branch on the way home today, and could not help myself from picking it up. so i took it home because i think it made a perfect reindeer horns...

and it did.

ode to odacchi

publishing a doujinshi next year. these two will be in there.

the joke isn't too funny, but at least it was a good practice on sincity/frankmiller kinda style. sketched in my sketchbook and inked straight on, using shiro's method. pretty fast, but didn't leave me with a good final hardcopy, so probably won't be using this method ever again.

still on the food joke, but this time back to my clean-lines, tiny-details style, which is still my favorite style. drawing thousand sunny on the 2nd panel was very enjoyable, as well as all the debris that came out after the gigant pistol blast. and drawing the kitchen on the third panel was fun. thank you odacchi for the great references of thousand sunny in volume 46.

SELLING ONE PIECE PRINTS - price info

i'm still in my post-AX slump period, but i'm finally over my AX fatigue. what slump, you ask? i was practically living together with eight awesome people for five days, but now they're all gone, scattered across the continent once more, and i have to wait another year before we can group up again. if that doesn't deserve a long sigh, i don't know what does.

now, some people have expressed interest in buying over the net some of the prints i was selling at AX, so here's the info:

********************

it's simple: you send me money, i get the money, i send you prints. buyer is responsible for shipping cost. how do you send money?
1. paypal is preferred.
2. sending cash via snail mail works, too, but if it gets lost in the way, i am NOT responsible for it.

combined shipping example: if you are buying a 12x18, and a set of the 4x6 skypiea recap, i'm just going to stick the set of 4x6 skypiea recap along with the 12x18, that way you only pay $5 US or $10 international for shipping.

NOTE ON AVAILABILITY
**********************
i have a lot of the 4x6 skypiea recap in stock, so those will last quite a while. however, i only have very few 12x18 and 8x12 left. once i run out of those, i don't think i will get more of them printed out.

thank you for your interest. i love serving a (relatively) small fandom like one piece. it made me happy that most of the people who stopped by my table during AX (regardless of whether or not they bought anything) are people who truly understand what one piece is about and are capable of holding a good conversation regarding the series.
