no, it's never FATE

37 minutes away from my first final, math. this class is getting irritating i just want to get this over with.

somehow it makes me sad when someone i know said "there's no way you can create your own destiny, it's all been predetermined for you."

i'm not big with philosophy or anything resembles that, but i do trust my logic.

if things were predetermined and i were fated to one day rule this wretched world and have everyone be my slaves, then i could just drop out of school and be a beach bum and waste money all i want. hey, i'll eventually be successful anyway, right?

if things were predetermined and i were fated to spend everyday of my life delivering mail from door to door and battling with ferocious wild beasts they call dogs, then i should just drop out of school. hey, no matter how good i do in school, i'll end up being a mailman, right?

if things were predetermined and i were fated to hop to class today instead of walking, then no matter how much i tried, i'd end up hopping like a freakin kangaroo, right?

now does that even make sense? come on, logically.

before anyone can convince me how those things make sense, i'll stick to the thought that future holds no certainty.

the reason why we call the past "past" is because it's based on facts. past does not really exist; it is only an imagery created by our mind based on the factual information that we gather everyday.

the reason why we call the present "present" is because it's what we're living right now. and present only holds for a small period of time. instantaneous, to be exact. every femtosecond that passed goes straight to the past. in fact, smaller than that. planck's second, given that time is quantized. present only holds for a short period of time, but it's continuously being created; it keeps going and going, and it will never end. that's why it's called "present," a gift from the creator.

the reason why we call the future "future" is because it holds no certainty, and no matter how hard smart people try to predict the future, all they can ever come up with is probabilities. chances of something happening. and as sam described it last night, "this is bullshit. after 30 pages of calculations, all they can ever come up with is that they'll fuck up once every 20 trials."

you never know what's gonna happen in the future.

you never know what's gonna happen in the future.

you never know what's gonna happen in the future.

you never know what's gonna happen in the future.

you never know what's gonna happen in the future.

you never know what's gonna happen in the future.

you never know what's gonna happen in the future.

you never know what's gonna happen in the future.

you never know what's gonna happen in the future.

you never know what's gonna happen in the future.

i bet you didn't predict that i'd be copy pasting that ten times in a row. what are the chances of that?

future holds no certainty, but that's why it's so exciting.
that means you can change it.
