down the two extremes

i was happy

both the items i guessed i'd be getting today arrived, and now i can happily play with them and ignore hum finals
but here's a note to self, and to everyone else: NEVER BUY CRAP FROM INPUT-S - and by crap i mean ANYTHING,

ANYTHING

the quality of the 2" figurines from input-s disappoints me - low quality carving, sucky detail, pale color
but i've paid =/
so i guess i'll just enjoy these sucky figurines

HOWEVER

the stuff i bought from a seller named CHOI_SUPER in ebay was high quality - and by stuff i mean the 8-piece gashapon figurines of the skypiea adventure
unlike the figurines from input-s, these come in great detail, and--typical bandai stuff--they come in pieces
like sanji's figure, the body was separated from the legs, and the hand holding a hammer was also separated, as well as the head
but all these snap well when they're assembled
i like the idea of painting the figurines in pieces first - that way, you dont have to worry about messing up
separate each parts that have the same color, color them, then attach them back - splendid
but even so, the quality of the parts that arent separated but have different colors are also beautiful
japanese people are amazing artists
well, at least bandai people are
