graphite marks

manchester united chose to bring in three new teenagers this summer, instead of buying some world-class players. well, hope these lads turn out to be good players, since the average age of united players are getting older. few of them are bound to retire a couple of years from now, and if they don't invest on talented youngsters early, they'll be in grave trouble.

aside from that, i made two more drawings last night. one of them is a random drawing of nobody; just a guy holding a gun. i think anyone holding a gun looks cool, so i drew one. the gun looks a little shabby, but don't blame me, i'm never good with details. the drawing itself looks kinda dirty, but that was completely my fault since i forgot to scan the drawing BEFORE i inked another drawing on the back of the same piece of paper. click to enlarge.



also, i finally made my own one piece poster. or, i'd like to call it a poster since it's on a full 8.5x11 paper. and it's INKED also. it's been quite a long time since i made a serious drawing like this one, and the one back then was not even inked. this is probably the first drawing seriously made AND inked. yeah, i enjoy doodling random crap better.

on the drawing, you can definitely tell i did not plagiarize this from anywhere; THIS IS MY OWN ARTWORK, not taken from the internet or whatever. look carefully, you'll notice that i'm still far away from oda-sama's level. some comments on the drawing:

** the perspective on zoro's left fingers holding the sandai kitetsu is kinda messed up.
** details on the sandai kitetsu itself is also messed up; like i said i'm bad with details.
** usopp came out pretty good, so did chopper; drawing these two was a lot easier than i thought since they didn't require any erasing whatsoever.
** the color of the gums is too dark, i should have not inked those and shade them with pencils instead.
** the chicken does not look like a chicken; oda-sama would have put some weird animal there, but my imagination is still way below average.
** details on luffy's straw-hat is bad as well.
** zoro's right arm is too small.
** sanji looks like he's smoking weed instead of cigarette.
