another yawn
world cup is coming up, and i'm uber-hyped-up for it. last world cup was so-so, but back in 1998 i remembered crying myself to sleep when england lost 3-2 to romania. and then i cried myself to sleep again when beckham got red-carded in the match against argentina and england lost in the penalty shootout.
let's hope this year sven actually does something NOT stupid, and that rooney can play. that lad is the epitome of "passionate football."
maybe i'll ditch everything completely and watch every single world cup game.
let me know if you want to do the same.
also, finally got around to making another webcomic strip. it's been over a week since the last one.

update?
not even.
i really don't have much to say lately. not that i have much to doodle either. which made me think... what have i been doing lately?
life is funny like that. when you actually have things to do, you end up not doing them and have lots of sleep and free time. but when you don't have anything to do, you start looking for things to do, and end up being sleep deprived, which apparently is what has been happening lately. it is rather unfortunate that i have no recollection of what sort of things i actually did this entire week.
i have a tendency to not think when spending money, especially when it comes to one piece items or art stuff. i bought g-pen and maru-pen nibs from akadot because i heard they are the kind of nibs that mangaka use. i am still on my quest to find nibs that suit me, and i think the g- and maru- nibs have ended my search. they're not exactly what i like, but they're much better than the rest of the nibs i've used. this sena is a finished product of the testing.
another thing that i spend a lot of money on is laminating. maybe i should get myself a laminating machine, so that i don't feed kinkos with the money i get from teaching physics to biology kids. my birthday is in november. does anyone want to get me a laminating machine? the main reason i need a laminator is because i like to laminate stuff that i draw that's worth laminating. like these:
it's not that i think they're so good that they deserve to be laminated and put up on the wall; these are simply some of my work that i wish to not wither with time, or get smudged up when they're placed in a folder, because some of the shadings were done with pencils.
dave stahnke, a colleague of mine who also does physics at ucsd, were burning some songs onto CDs a few days ago. he then gave me a copy, one which he titled "PHYSICS 2006 SOUNDTRACK: MUSIC INDEPENDENT OF TIME."
silly dave, he forgot a wavefunction after the potential. we can't solve a schrodinger's equation like that; it's not homogeneous.
i have a manga i had been working on for a long time. not because it's long and hard and good, but mainly because i've been taking about a month or two of breaks everytime i finish a page. right now it's got 9 pages, and i will try to finish the tenth page whenever i feel like it (this will most likely mean another month or two). i also have a comic i'm currently making that's stealing eggy's eggylife layout, but i will not post these anywhere until i'm done... which won't be anytime soon, at the rate i am going.
taking a lab class, teaching four lab sections, and tutoring three different people is apparently a lot of work to do, especially in the span of a week. the fact that i've been waking up at 0730am this whole entire week didn't help either. yawn.
2.22 am now. i should really get started on making monday's comic.

the day of the bird
http://e1n.kefi.org/STRIPS/PHP/2006-207-e.php
i never like this day.
sun god is the only day ucsd becomes a party school. it's like a mardi gras, only in sandiego. people say that sun god is the only day ucsd students don't act like asses to one another, but i say that sun god is the only day ucsd students get too drunk to notice when someone's being an ass to them.
i have a rant about this day, a day that i never enjoy, but i'll keep that to myself.
about sun god: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun_God_%28statue%29
people say it's a bird. to me it looks like a damn chicken <_<

teh intharweb
my AP crush, meethz has a crush on me as well! awww, how cute!
that said, dangit meethz, go online more often.
apparently people in AP forums have this fetish of seeing me with another man, and for some reason they paired me up with eggy and ocean. despite being sober, i made a claim that i'd seme eggy. then all hell broke loose, thanks to taboo:
then taboo decided to add a bit of chang into the mix.
and so i ended it with something horrible, before things get out of hand.
though, when you think about it, it might actually make things worse. internet is a truly horrible, horrible thing.

where there's a will there's a way
remember last time i was pondering about how dinosaurs have sex?
well, this answers a fraction of the question.
and then this picture gives an interesting insight.

1003
i think the time i need to get a new ipod is coming up. this one have is about 1.5 years old, and it has died twice, and revived twice.
the funny thing is, everytime it's screwed up, all i have to do is pry the darn thing open, blow away all the dusts, pop it back together, and then it will miraculously work again. but then again, problems have been occurring frequently as of late, making me think that it's reaching its end, and i will definitely need to get a new one when that day comes. i'll just prepare myself to not cry when that day actually comes. this ipod is the one that has loyally kept me companied for almost 18 months. none of the girls i've ever dated lasted that long. so conclusion: ipod lasts longer than girls.
wishlist:
1. new ipod
2. 250gb external hdd
3. new FSB800 dual processor desktop.
4. 1gb ramstick for my powerbook
does anyone have excessive money they wanna give away?
