eggy arrived here sunday evening. we are still alive now and have not tried to kill each other, surprisingly enough. initially i thought it would just be non-stop work to get shit done, but this turned out to be some sort of vacation thing. let's hope we can actually get some shit done before AX actually starts.

zoro postcard is done, by the way.


nami and sanji-usopp postcard are in coloring stage, while chopper and robin postcard are still in sketching stage.

eggy finished 3 sketches for samurai champloo postcards. no large spreads are started yet.

smelly feet

my sister said to me today that she can't live without having her friends around her, so i gave her a bit of a pep-talk. here's how the conversation went:

e: that's kinda sad, you know? people who isolate themselves from the society are kinda sad, but people who always need someone else to be with them all the time are just as sad.
sis: how so?
e: have you ever heard of the old saying "for every hot girl, there's always an ugly bitch hanging out with her?"
sis: .... no.
e: well, now you have.
sis: that doesn't apply to me and my friends. we're all hot.
e: see, the hot girl knows that the other girl is uglier than her. but the ugly girl will always think that they're both just as hot.
sis: ...............
e: so which one do you think you are?
sis: i hate you.
e: i know.
